I waited five years to become a member of Teal Sound and over the past few months worked my ass off, gave the corps well over two grand, and put more effort into this cymbal line than anything else in my life, and tonight that was taken away from me. I’ll never get the same experience from another corps. Teal Sound Cymbal Line 2012. Nothing Else Mattered.

Tomorrow I leave home to spend the summer touring the country with Teal Sound and I’m freaking out…

I’ve wanted to do this since 2007 and now that i’m actually getting the chance to I can’t shake the feeling that I won’t be able to handle it. Sometimes I get the feeling I’m just doing this to escape; to get away from home because I’ve had such a terrible past year here and I want to get away. All I want to do is leave this depressed state i’ve been in here at home. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure I’m going to to fine, and I couldn’t be more excited even though I know it’s going to kick my ass. I just have to know that everything is gonna work out and stop over thinking everything, I’ll do whatever it takes, even if it kills me
